Food Drive at Village Primary Academy
The Junior Leadership Team at Village Primary Academy decided to start a food drive within school. During their meetings, which were held after school, the pupils chose to support doorways by appealing for food donations.
Vicki Bramall a teacher at Village, who runs the leadership team, informed us that assemblies were held to inform the whole school about our charity and the work that we do.
In the final week of term they decided to hold a hamper challenge, each class was given a box to fill with tins, dried goods and toiletries. The results were amazing with some classes filling 7 boxes.
The fantastic results can be seen in the picture, such a fantastic effort from everybody at Village for such an amazing cause.
Mrs Bramall said that along with the benefits of helping doorways, some very valuable lessons were learnt along the way such as the importance of not wasting food and the importance of giving back to our local community.
We at Doorways, would like to thank the Junior Leadership Team for their amazing contribution, your amazing donations will help a lot of families.
Thankyou for your support.

Watching how the school community came together for the food drive reminded me of a moment when I realized that learning and giving both grow stronger with support I once sat with notes scattered like cans waiting to be sorted unsure how to turn ideas into something useful and that is when guidance from Professional Assignment Writing Service helped me understand how to shape thoughts with purpose not by doing the work for me but by helping me build confidence step by step just like those students who discovered the power of teamwork I discovered the strength that comes from shared effort and slowly my writing turned from confusion into something I could be proud of.
