Village Primary Academy supporting Doorways

Village Primary Academy have set up a donations box at the front of their school, so that parents and children can donate food items.
The response has been amazing and the children have enjoyed asking questions about where the food goes and who we are helping.
Dominic, a year 6 pupil said "Today, I donated several cans of vegetables, sauces and spices. It gave me an amazing feeling because I helped someone in their time of need"
On behalf of everyone at Doorways, we would like to thank all the pupils and parents of Village Primary for their amazing support.
Really lovely to see children learning kindness in such a natural way. Dominic’s words were especially heartwarming because you can tell the experience genuinely meant something to him. Community support like this brings people together. It also shows how clear communication matters in every stage of life, even later when people work with cv writers to share their own stories and achievements.
