Toyota Manufacturing UK Charitable Trust.

On the 28th of March, Lauren and Lisa Wheatley had the pleasure of joining lots of other charities for a special event held by Toyota Manufacturing UK Charitable Trust. They were awarded a cheque for £5,000 to help towards our FareShare costs for the year, which currently totals over £10,000, this money is going to be a massive help towards our yearly food bank costs with more and more people needing to use our services due to the continuing cost of living crisis.

The support TMUK charitable trust provide to local charities is incredible and they always go above and beyond to raise funds that are then distributed out to various charities.

They make a huge impact to so many different causes and Doorways can’t thank Julie and the team enough for their support and dedication to helping us help you!

I just read this post about the Toyota Manufacturing UK Charitable Trust and honestly it was really inspiring to see how a big company is giving back to local communities in meaningful ways. It was cool to learn about the kinds of projects they support and how the Trust focuses on things like education, wellbeing, and opportunities for people who might otherwise miss out — it makes you realise that charity work isn’t just about handing out money, but about investing in people and long‑term positive change. I also appreciated how the article breaks everything down clearly, which helps people actually understand what’s possible when organisations and communities work together. Writing about community impact and social programmes can be tougher…
