At the beginning of July, staff at Lakeside Cafe did a raffle and a cake stand in order to raise funds for us here at Doorways.
Tim and his staff raised nearly £300 in just a few hours. They visited us on Saturday and met with Craig and Lisa to give them the money that was raised at their Cafe.
After seeing lots of people waiting to collect food from the food produce tables, they decided to come along on a Tuesday evening to volunteer and see how Doorways work and how we help the homeless and vulnerable, by providing them with a hot meal and sandwich pack.
After seeing how Doorways run and the families that we help they have decided to do a charity fishing day on bank holiday Monday, 26th August
