Due to the phenomenal response we had to our advent calendar appeal, we received over 1500 calendars.
We helped Santa this year to give out over 600 calendars to children in the community yesterday and were overwhelmed by the happy smiles on children's faces.
We had some calendars left over, which we decided to deliver to local nurseries and many nursing homes in Derby.
These were gratefully received by the staff on behalf of their residents.
Thank you to every one who donated and for helping us to make Christmas a little more magical for so many people after a very tough year.
